Audemars Piguet will launch the Royal Oak Automatic Chronometer 26450ST. O. 1356ST.01-B in 2026, which is a new upgraded version of the 38mm Royal Oak Chronometer lineup, replacing the old model from 2019. It is fully equipped with the brand s self-made chronograph movement, continuing the classic style and top-level watchmaking craftsmanship of the Royal Oak.
This watch features a stainless steel case with a diameter of 38mm and a thickness of only 11.1mm, providing a lightweight and comfortable grip. Both the surface and bottom cover are equipped with sapphire crystal glass, which is not only wear-resistant and scratch resistant, but also fully displays the beauty of internal mechanical operation. The waterproof depth reaches 50 meters, which is more than sufficient for daily wearing scenarios. The integrated stainless steel watch chain is paired with a three fold folding clasp, which is stable to wear and easy to remove, combining practicality and texture.
The dial is decorated with a classic blue large grid pattern, and the timing dial is designed in the same color tone, creating a harmonious and atmospheric visual hierarchy. The indicators and hour markers are made of 18K white gold and coated with a luminous coating, which can be read clearly day and night. The inner ring is decorated with rhodium toned edges, and the details are exquisite and refined. The wristwatch has functions such as hour, minute, central second hand, date display, and complete timing, with all practical features available.
The movement is equipped with the Audemars Piguet automatic winding 6401 movement, and the precision structure can be fully viewed through the sapphire back cover. The movement vibrates 28800 times per hour (4Hz) and consists of 350 parts with 44 gemstone bearings embedded. The movement has a diameter of 27mm and a thickness of 5.7mm, with a power reserve of about 55 hours. It has precise timing and stable performance.
