BREITLING Breitling has officially launched the classic Chronomat mechanical timing series Chronomat B01 42 watch (model AB0158101C1A1). This upgrade continues the iconic riding bezel design language of the early 1980s Chronomat, while deeply optimizing the case and bracelet structure, achieving a comprehensive leap in wearing experience while inheriting the classic.
This watch is made of stainless steel material and is equipped with a 42mm case. The thickness has been greatly reduced from the previous generation s 15.1mm to 13.77mm. Coupled with a new hidden ear structure, it further enhances wrist fit and daily wear comfort. The case has a professional waterproof performance of 200 meters, paired with double-sided anti glare treated curved sapphire crystal glass, which can handle daily commuting or leisure sports with ease.
The bezel adopts an integrated structural design, perfectly integrating the bezel ring, inserts, lugs, and screws, making the structure more sturdy and durable. The unidirectional rotating ratchet dial is equipped with raised riding lugs, numerical and minute scales, providing a clear and precise operating feel. At the same time, the watch model has removed the 1/100 scale on the inner ring and reduced the size of the crown cover, making the overall lines more concise and smooth.
The dial adopts the classic blue and black timing dial color scheme, paired with three-dimensional hour markers and central hands, both of which are coated with Super LumiNova luminous coating to ensure clear reading in low light environments. The display function covers central hour and minute hands, small second hands, timing second hands, 30 minute and 12 hour timing dials, as well as practical date windows, meeting all daily needs.
The core is equipped with the Caliber B01 automatic winding timing movement produced by Breitling, which has obtained the COSC certification from the Swiss Observatory. It adopts the industry s top guide column wheel and vertical clutch structure, with a vibration frequency of 28800 times/hour, equipped with 47 gemstone bearings, precise and stable timekeeping, fast response and smooth operation of the timing function.
The watch is paired with a classic stainless steel Rouleaux bracelet, equipped with a hidden butterfly clasp and a Breitling patented fine-tuning system, which can easily adjust the length according to wearing needs, combining beauty and practicality.
