In 2026, BREITLING Breitling will launch the NAVITIMER aviation timing series B01 timing watch to pay tribute to the Concorde special edition AB01389C1P1. This limited edition masterpiece is designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the maiden flight of the Concorde aircraft and perfectly combines two epoch-making classic symbols in aviation history: the NAVITIMER aviation timing watch, a wrist flying device designed for pilots in 1952, and the Concorde supersonic aircraft, which redefines commercial air travel and soars at twice the speed of sound.
This watch features a 43mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 13.69mm and a distance of 49.07mm between the lugs, providing a comfortable and snug fit. The bi-directional rotating bezel is equipped with a circular sliding slide rule, which is the iconic design of the NAVITIMER series and can be used to perform various aviation related calculations. The case is equipped with a curved sapphire crystal glass with double-sided anti glare treatment, as well as a sapphire transparent back cover engraved with the exclusive pattern of the Concorde aircraft, with a waterproof depth of up to 30 meters.
The dial adopts a deep blue tone, paired with a contrasting white dial. The color inspiration comes from the stratospheric landscape overlooking the Concorde aircraft during flight, and also echoes the aircraft s nickname White Bird . The dial continues the classic NAVITIMER timing layout and integrates sliding slide scale scales. The three-dimensional hour markers and pointers are coated with luminous materials to ensure clear reading under various lighting conditions.
In terms of power, the watch is equipped with the Breitling self-made B01 automatic winding chronograph movement, which adopts a column wheel and vertical clutch structure, with a vibration frequency of 28800 times/hour. It is composed of 320 parts and has a power storage of about 70 hours. This movement has been certified by the Swiss official observatory and drives the central hour, minute, and second displays as well as timing functions, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
The NAVITIMER B01 chronograph watch 43 pays tribute to the limited edition AB01389C1C1P1 of the Concorde special edition, with 593 pieces worldwide. This number pays tribute to the Olympus 593 engine that powers the Concorde aircraft. The back of the watch is engraved with the words Tribute to Concorde and Mach 2 representing the cruising speed of an airplane, highlighting the unique commemorative significance and collectible value of this watch in every detail.
