The Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer, developed jointly by Omega and the European Space Agency, is just as its name suggests, a good partner for exploring Mars.
This distinctive 45 mm chronograph, crafted from grade 2 titanium, displays true solar time for any location on Earth and Mars. It is equipped with a brand-new microcontroller, specially developed and programmed to display the equation of time for the two planets, allowing the watch s innovative sun compass to accurately display due north for both the Earth and Mars. The watch also displays the solar longitude of Mars and the mean solar time at three different locations (prime meridian B two user-set locations), adjusted for the fact that the Martian solar day is 2.7% longer than the Earth s solar day.

The classic black surface sets off the multiple sets of needles and digital display readings, which are in sharp contrast and clear and easy to read. In addition, the symbols of the earth and Mars make the functions in use clear at a glance. The outer edge of the dial is inlaid with a red hematite oxalate anodized aluminum bezel ring, inspired by the unique sand of Mars; the second hand is also decorated with a fiery red color, gradually changing from black to hematite red.

The back of the watch is embossed with the English name of Omega s famous Speedmaster series and the Seamaster logo in the center, and the words SPEEDMASTER X-33 MARSTIMER, ESA TESTED AND QUALIFIED (tested and approved by the European Space Agency) are engraved on the outside. It is equipped with the Omega movement 5622. This highly accurate, multifunctional, temperature-compensated quartz movement is equipped with a number of special functions. It has been tested and approved by the European Space Agency and has been calibrated to drive a variety of digital and analog displays. Analogue functions include hours, minutes and seconds; digital functions include tracking the time zone and date of Earth and Mars, a Mars function that tracks the space missions of the rover on Mars, and a solar compass that determines the true north of Earth and Mars. In addition, the watch also has the functions of the classic Speedmaster Skywalker X33, including MET (mission elapsed time), PET (phase elapsed time), alarm and perpetual calendar.

The Marstimer bracelet is made of grade 2 and grade 5 titanium, with a folding clasp and a characteristic rolling watch box. The lining of the watch box is designed with the red Mars as the theme, vividly showing the unique steep Hebes Chasma landmark on the surface of Mars. It also comes with a dedicated NATO strap, which can change the image at will.
