Starting from this year, Swiss luxury watch brand TUDOR has established a partnership with Alinghi Red Bull Racing, the favorite Alinghi Red Bulls sailing team for the America s Cup. The Alinghi Red Bull Racing monohull hydrofoil AC75 combines carbon, titanium and stainless steel to create a proprietary composite that enables the boat to break the waves at speed. The Pelagos FXD watch also combines different materials for its functionality: a lightweight and robust high-tech carbon composite for the case and bezel, titanium for the bezel, crown and pushers, and 316L stainless steel for the case back. The 43mm size of the new Alinghi Red Bulls Special Edition Pelagos FXD Chrono is also a breakthrough for the collection, and is the first chronograph in TUDOR s history to incorporate a fixed bracelet bar case.
